  1. How many different ways of organizing or structuring a company can you think of?
  Studying the literature on the issue, I can name several ways of organizing a company.
  The 1st - Linear organization. It is the simplest structure. There is a certain chain of instances in it. The senior manager gives tasks to the line managers. And they control the work of contractors. This type of organization is suitable for small companies such as accountancy or law companies. It is very easy to make decisions in such companies.
  The 2nd - line staff organization. There is a senior manager and some departments. The departments can’t make any decisions. Their main role is to help the senior manager while doing some management functions. The departments just recommend the senior manager to do something but the main decision is up to him.
  The 3rd – functional structure. There is the general manager of the company. And there are some senior managers according to their functions: the production director, the financial director, sales director and so on.
  The 4th – divisional structure. It is the management structure of a firm, a company, in which the management of individual products and individual functions is clearly divided. Key figures in the management of organizations with a divisional structure are top managers who are the head of production divisions.
