  Introduction
  In the modern world, along with developed and developing countries, a group of countries called the growing powers emerged. Appearance of Brazil, India, China, Turkey, South Africa and Russia markedly changed the configuration of international relations, because their interaction with each other and with the states of different type is due to the movement of growing powers at the center of world politics and the global economy. More often it acquires strategic character determined both by national interests and the tasks of strengthening international security, and by the processes of globalization and the regionalization of world politics.
  A striking example of this is the relations between Turkey and Russia in the first two decades of the 21st century. Despite the existing contradictions, they are characterized by unprecedented dynamism. This is explained by the fact that the foundation of Russian-Turkish relations is strong diverse economic ties, which have a positive impact on political contacts. There are still many geopolitical circumstances that contribute to the development of Russian-Turkish relations. Among them, bilateral trade, supply of oil and gas from Russia, outbound tourism to Turkey, labor migration to Russia from Turkey (especially construction), as well as mutual investments are of key importance. A significant role is played by political and geographical factors.
  Turkey and Russia are territorially united by the Eurasian space. Many countries pay attention to it as a promising development region. Within the limits of this direction Kazakhstan initiated the creation of a platform for Eurasian and Euro-Atlantic security, arguing that the Eurasian partnership is a new phenomenon in world politics, that Euro-Atlantic security is inconceivable without the Eurasian one.

  Methodology
  Literature Review
  Theoretical part of the work will be based both on the reasons of Turkey and Russia being rivals through the history and those interests which define foreign policies of the countries. These sides of Russian-Turkish questions are necessary for understanding them on the modern stage. In addition there will be an overview of three main fields of cooperation between countries as political dialogue, military-technical cooperation and economic cooperation. They will be studied relatively the incident with downed Russian warplane as the benchmark of the partnership before and after. This part will be studied with usage of different sources including news from media. It is necessary for restoration of the events consequences. Main media resource planned to be used is Informational Agency ‘Tass’. However, other Russian sources without emotional component will be used too. The choice of it can be explained by the impartial presentation of the news as they are represented mostly by official statements of the politicians.
  
  News coverage analysis
  As soon as it is difficult to embrace all the news connected with Russian-Turkish relations, the attention will be attracted to the research of the incident with Russian warplane downed by Turkey in November 2015. Along with it analytical part will be conducted in three stages:
